Britney Spears’ latest single is reportedly delayed caused by problems using the Toxic singer’s voice.

Plans to discharge the 34-year-old singer’s new track Make Me (Oooh) were postponed a few weeks ago, on account of “techinical production difficulties” without the need of new date announced.

And in accordance with editors at British newspaper The Sun, lacking new Britney material is reportedly because record company bosses are unhappy together with the Baby One More Time musician’s vocal work towards the song.

“The single has become a nightmare for everyone involved,” a resource tells the paper. “When it dropped to the final version with the track, the label just didn’t like her voice plus the producers were struggling to really make it work with all the recordings they.”

The publication reports producers and executives have allegedly held emergency meetings having a view to transforming the track therefore it is ready for release.

“They’ve attemptedto find someone to feature some guest vocals to boost the track rather then finding period in Britney’s schedule to re-record – but they’ve really struggled,” the insider adds. “It’s been very stressful, the track must have been out in the past now.”

Make Me (Oooh) is scheduled to become the lead single from her ninth studio album, the production date that is also yet to become announced.

In May, Joe Riccitelli, the Executive Vice President of Britney’s record label RCA Records told America’s Billboard magazine he was, “waiting on her behalf to finish the album,” and was “really excited” around the record.
